London based Chris Coode has released a substantial body of work under the name of Motion, from a split EP with Matmos on Fat Cat records, and one self released album which led to him being discovered and signed by Taylor Deupree's 12k label. With Chris' Recon project, he retains his subtle and immediate control of the music, his trademark balance of controlled noise and texture, but allows through a whole other dirtier and nasty detail to the sound, akin to a broken techno feel of machines in mid-crisis.

Static infused, and processed dub basslines combine with german minimalist tech sounds and driving rhythms when Si-cut.db is at the controls. Douglas Benford, the man behind the Si-cut.db persona has over the past ten or so years released a vast catalog of solo work and collaborations on labels ranging from Spa.rk, Bip_Hop, BackGround, Expanding, and working with people like Benge, Scanner, and Stephan Mathieu, all while also co-running the London based monthly Sprawl club and label, alongside partner in crime, BitTonic.

In his solo N.LN project, Nyles uses electronics and computer manipulations to create a similar aesthetic, gorgeous evocative atmospherics combine with constantly evolving crunched and gnarly beats.
